Mark Sommerfeld has worked in renewable energy policy and regulation for over six years. Alumni of Cambridge University, he has managed policy regulation across both generation and retail renewable energy projects. Mark joined the Renewable Energy Association in 2015 and manages the REA''s Waste to Energy sector group, which advocates for the establishment of a thriving energy from waste Industry within a circular economy, along with realising the potential of advanced conversion technologies. Mark also leads on the REA’s Finance Forum and work stream on Brexit.
