How to make the most of Future Resource 2019

Future Resource is fast approaching, and it’s time to start considering how to get the most out of your time at the event. At Future Resource’s biggest show yet there is so much going on, it really is important to plan ahead, and ensure your time is used valuably. With so much unmissable content from exclusive expert-led seminars and market-leading exhibitors, there is something for everyone. You won’t want to miss a thing, so a little planning goes a long way.

Plan Your Seminar Schedule

If you haven’t already received your copy of the physical show guide, then be sure to check out the digital show guide here. The agenda will give you the first outline of your seminar schedule, and knowing where to be at what time will enable you to get the best seats in the house! You can expect to see leading speakers from Nestle’s Anna Turrell, Toyota’s Jon Hunt, Mike Fay from Del Technologies and Intel Corporation’s Joe Jankosky.

Bring your ticket and beat the queues

Make sure you have your ticket printed out and to hand, this will allow you to skip the queues and give you more time to spend in the halls. The obvious benefit is guaranteeing more time to spend exploring the cutting edge products from the likes of National Grid, Northern Gas and Power, Rolec EV and Sherbert London.

As well as your event ticket, our partnership with the National Exhibition Centre means we can offer a 20% discount on Virgin Trains travel. This helps you get to the event in time, whilst saving a bit of money on the way. Birmingham International Station is a stone's throw away from the NEC as well, making everything that little bit easier! Find out more about Virgin Trains discount on the NEC website here.

Portable Chargers and Business Cards

Given how many new prospects you’ll be adding into your contacts a means to ensure your phone stays charged will be essential. Bringing a portable phone charger will ensure that you can keep your battery topped up for the whole day.

Equally as important, one thing you must not forget to take with you is your business cards. Even in our digital age, business cards remain one of the most effective forms of direct marketing — make sure you do not forget yours on the 11th and 12th of September!

Reusable Cups and Lunch

As we are an event based on sustainability, it seems only right to encourage visitors to bring their own reusable cups and packed lunches. You will be able to receive a discount from the hot drink stands by bringing your reusable cup, and you will minimise waste by bringing your own food in.

Future Resource is the UK’s leading energy & water efficiency event, and as such, this makes the time spent at the event incredibly valuable. Making sure to utilise your time effectively at this unique and free event can result in unrivalled education, and more time spent constructing beneficial relationships with some of the biggest, market-leading brands. Use your show guide, either physical or digital, to begin planning your day now!

We look forward to seeing you there!
