National Grid joins Future Resource

As the technology used for electric vehicles continues to progress and develop further, it is mirrored by the increasing interest from corporations and governments alike. Electric vehicles will be the next generation of commercial vehicle technology, and as such Future Resource is ecstatic to confirm Graeme Cooper and Mark Herring of the National Grid to be leading their own keynote seminar at the event.

Taking place on the 11th and 12th September, Future Resource will be the biggest sustainability event in the UK. With a huge demand being placed on electric vehicle technology for a cleaner future, Graeme Cooper and Mark Herring will look into how the National Grid will be able to cope with such an increase in demand, and especially when the demand is as essential as the access to electric vehicles and their necessary charging stations.

Both keynote speakers hold respected positions within National Grid; with Mark Herring being Strategic Team Lead and Graeme Cooper the Project Director, their collective expertise will provide an unrivalled insight into a huge transformation that will affect everyone in the country. Their expertise will make this a must-attend seminar for all visitors of Future Resource.

The seminars will be a deeply insightful look into a topic that will likely be in the centre of attention for the coming years. This seminar will discuss topics such as what challenges can we expect, the factors that will limit the transition, and also how the renewable energy will be implemented into the grid. Any questions will be answered after for a limited amount of time.

This September, Birmingham’s NEC will be the centre stage for the most comprehensive sustainability event in the UK. Tickets are completely free and are available now. Click the link below to register for your tickets or invite your colleagues.
