HoSt provides waste-to-energy solutions to turn waste into renewable energy. Our expertise focuses on the technological development of the processing of waste and biomass streams and the supply of systems for renewable energy from biomass and waste.
HoSt designs, supplies and builds anaerobic digestion plants, combined heat and power plants, hot water boilers, fluidized bed gasifier plants and biogas upgrading systems.
Our turn-key agricultural and industrial biogas plants are developed for the processing of manure, corn, straw, sludge, organic waste, green waste, slaughterhouse waste, chaff and many more diverse waste streams.
Our combined heat and power plants are available from 2MWt to 50 MWt boiler capacity and up to 12 MWe using an advanced combustion technology which is highly flexible in applicable fuels. The low grate temperature allows a greater variety of biomass fuels with low ash melting point to be fired, such as RDF, wood, straw, chaff, olive pulp, chicken manure and other (organic) biomass waste products.
With a team of more than 90 engineers we have extensive experience in sludge treatment, manure digestion, processing slaughterhouse waste and digesting polluted organic waste currents (green waste, roadside grass) and a broad range of biomass streams (manure, grass, liquid waste streams) in combination with waste from the food industry.
Depending on the wishes of the customer, several HoSt maintenance services are possible. This varies from solely specialized service and maintenance and supply of components to 24/7 all-in maintenance contracts throughout Europe.
