CPL Activated Carbons

Supplier of activated carbons, mobile carbon filters and reactivation services.
CPL Activated Carbons manufactures and supplies a wide range of activated carbons, based on coal, coconut and wood raw materials. Granular (GAC), powdered (PAC) and extruded pellet types are available for a wide range of gas and liquid phase applications, including water treatment, biogas/biomethane purification, odour control, general air treatment, VOC abatement, edible oil purification and flue gas filtration.
We are the market leaders in a number of these sectors, and our range of Filtracarb® FGT® carbons are the industry standard for mercury and dioxin removal at EfW and waste incineration facilities.
CPL Activated Carbons has a broad range of Clean-Flo® mobile carbon filter vessels, for gas phase (VOCSorber®) and liquid phase (AquaSorber®) applications, supplied on a rental/service basis. Sizes available range from 180 litre drums through to large 20-30m3 tipping vessels, delivered by dedicated truck/trailer.
For most carbon applications using GAC or pellets, spent carbons can be reactivated at our state-of-the-art regeneration facility located at CPL Industries' manufacturing site in Immingham. We have separate facilities for Green (potable/food) and Amber (industrial) waste streams, with complete separation of the two processes - this is unique within the UK.
CPL Activated Carbons is accredited to the latest quality (ISO 9001:2015) and environmental (ISO 14001:2015) standards, as well as REACH regulations.
Also, parent company CPL Industries is pioneering new technology, called Hydrothermal Carbonisation (HTC), that can make biocoal from green waste. Further information about HTC and Biocoal can also be obtained at our RWM stand.
